 WORKSHOP 

 Life-saving Skills: Comprehensive Workshop at SMS Hospital 

In a proactive initiative, eight educators from Mayura School participated in a comprehensive training program led by Mr. Rajkumar Raipal at SMS Hospital in Jaipur on March 23rd and 24th, 2023. The specialized training centred on Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), crucial skills that can make a significant difference in emergency situations.

 

This impactful training was conducted in collaboration with the Road Safety Cell of the Transport Department, highlighting the importance of a multi-sectoral approach to emergency preparedness. The program equipped the teachers with essential life-saving techniques, empowering them to respond effectively to critical situations.

Teaching Dynamics

Mayura School's educators were presented with a unique and invaluable opportunity to engage with and gain insights from the distinguished Clinical Psychologist, Ms. Tvishi Sharma on the 27th of June 2023.

Ms. Tvishi Sharma, a registered Clinical Psychologist, has not only contributed significantly to Mayur School under the governance of Mayo General College but has also accumulated a wealth of experience in dealing with diverse cases, spanning the age group of 10 to 35 years. Her impactful workshops have left an indelible mark, having been conducted for esteemed organizations such as Baba Ramdev's Patanjali in Haridwar, various Japanese industries, and even with the CRPF battalion.

 

Mayura School's teaching faculty had the privilege of tapping into Ms. Sharma's vast expertise, seeking guidance on various facets of child psychology. Recognizing that Moral Values and Life Skills are integral aspects of life, Ms. Sharma emphasized the pivotal role teachers’ play in instilling these values and skills essential for a child's holistic development. The session unfolded with a fresh perspective, offering innovative solutions to the queries posed by the teachers.

 

In addition to addressing queries, the workshop took a unique turn by presenting a completely different outlook on the subject matter. Ms. Sharma provided valuable guidance on effectively managing emotions and handling stress within the classroom environment.

 

The participants expressed their gratitude for the novel insights provided, acknowledging the significant impact on improving young minds. The workshop, overall, was a transformative experience, leaving all participants enriched and equipped with new perspectives to enhance their teaching methodologies. Mayura School extends sincere appreciation to Ms. Tvishi Sharma for her invaluable contribution to the professional development of its teaching staff.

Mayura School: Smart Classrooms

Digitally enhanced classrooms

Smart panels have been installed in four classrooms for the benefit of the students of classes 8 to 10. With this upgradation these classes are now Digitally Connected, enabling the teachers and students to interact and adapt to different Learning Styles. This initiative has allowed the creation of a curiosity-driven environment within the classes with visually enhanced interactive teaching.

Mayura School : POCSO Session 28 June 22

Staff's Session

A session on the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) was organised on 28th June 2022 for the teaching staff to enhance their knowledge of the Act.  The resource persons were advocate Mr. Pranav Prapan Swami and advocate Ms Noopur Sharma who communicated with the Mayura Staff and informed them about the different kinds of crimes and the legal punishments related to it. The School has its POCSO committee as per the norms. It is necessary to create awareness among the students especially young children about ‘Good touch & bad touch’. The coordinator of Cultural Activity & Head of the department of English welcomed the esteemed speakers. The Vice-Principal Ms. Ritu Jain on behalf of the school, expressed her gratitude for such an informative as well as interactive session organized on such short notice by Mr Swami and Ms Sharma. We are highly grateful for their valuable time.

Mayura School: Career Counselling Session

Career Counselling Session....

A Career Counselling Session was organized for the students of classes 9th  and 10th by Pratham Test Prep on 10th May 2022  to inform about different colleges and their eligibility criteria. It was related to selection of stream, career and required efforts. Students interacted with the counsellor and got their doubts resolved which enhanced their insight to start seeking for better future from early age and become successful in their life with a wisely chosen career.
